That’s How Diablo III Looked Like In 2005

If Blizzard would have stayed to its concept from 2005, the player would not persue monsters in dungeons but in bright halls. Former Blizzard North members now published some concept arts showing the hero fighting demons in Heaven.

In 2005 the development on Diablo III was stopped and the whole development process so far has been canceled. Blizzard restarted the entire design process. According to the former developers the work done by Blizzard North did not meet the expections of Blizzard. Up to now, there was not any information regarding the former version of Diablo III. There have also been unconfirmed rumors that Diablo III would take place in Heaven but now, some concept arts have been released.
